Raced over 2000m at Fairview. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: Unfortunately, he bled after his race so he will be retiring from racing. Gavin Smith will be looking for a good home for him.

He took his place in a 2000m contest on the Fairview polytrack. This effort is best ignored as he was reported to be not striding out. He is also better suited to the turf and further.

He notched up his fifth career victory over 2400m at Fairview Racecourse this afternoon. He did not have much luck in transit, but showed good guts to win going away. He took his place over 2200m at Fairview on the polytrack today. He was very unlucky not to have finished in the money as he was awkwardly placed and bumped at the 300m mark. He was also reported to be coughing post-race. He is better suited to the turf and will be worth following next time.

He gave a solid account of himself when running on strongly in the closing stages. As we expected and as his pedigree suggests, he thoroughly enjoyed stepping up to the 2400m and on that effort he shouldn’t take too long to find the winners box again. See the replay of his promising display here.

Nice run by Bhakka today, at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. That was his first run out of the maidens, over a trip short of his best. Clearly an improving type, he will go very close to winning against the right company next time, when he runs over a bit more ground.

After a minor setback a few weeks ago, it was great to see Bhakka back to himself again. He won the opener on the program at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon, another winner for Wylie Hall. Well done to the team.

That was a lovely debut over the 1400m by Bhakka this evening, at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He is bred for much further and despite the tough trip, he boxed on well for 3rd – beaten by just 1,80 lengths. Watch out for him over a bit more ground in the near future. See the replay below.

Bhakka has completed the pre-training phase of his career and he joined up with Alyson Wright at Summerveld, on 27th November 2018. He has already settled in well and has completed his first Summerveld workout, this morning (28 November 2018) – see clip below. We are very happy with the way he has grown and matured over the past 2 months.

Bhakka will join up with a number of our other two-year olds at Jane Thomas’ Far End Farms, where he will be broken in before arriving at Alyson Wright’s yard at Summerveld.
