Logan Lake is renamed to KITCHAKAL. The horse is named by horse racing photographer Anneke Akal Kitching. She is the daughter of Anita Akal, course photographer in KZN for more than 50 years. The name is a combination of their surnames Kitching and Akal – Kitchakal.
