Lucinda Is An Accomplished Horse Trainer And Comes From A Long Line Of Racing Enthusiasts.
She started her career working for her father, Geoff Woodruff in 2013. Her move from Johannesburg to Cape Town meant that she would run the satellite yard in the Cape. This was an immense responsibility from the get-go. Since then, Lucinda has gone from strength to strength, receiving her trainer’s license and enjoying multiple graded winners.
“I always try and go above and beyond, giving each horse my individual and undivided attention. We are a relatively small yard, which allows me to give each individual the time and attention they need. I also sometimes enjoy a tricky horse. I love the challenge, taking different approaches in bringing out the best in every horse.”
