Name Meaning: Known in racing circles as the Queen of Smoke, May is a household name in spinning — one of the fastest growing motorsports in SA. Driving her trademark pink BMW M325i, she has made appearances on shows like So You Think You Can Spin, Top Gear SA and The Grand Tour. Most recently, she also starred alongside SA actress Charlize Theron on Netflix’s Motorsport show, Hyperdrive. To top it all off, May’s hard work and dedication to her sport earned her the Gauteng’s Woman of Honour award in 2019.

360 – QUEEN OF SMOKE won a good race in Race 7 on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon. She raced from just off the pace, quickened up well and won with ease. The daughter of Gimmthegreenlight was ridden to victory by Randall Simons and is trained by Hollywoodbets-sponsored Stuart Pettigrew. She is now a two-time winner and well done to the breeders Syrilla Stud.

333 – QUEEN OF SMOKE got up where it matters most to win Race 2 over 1200m at the Vaal. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight was very green in running, but was given a perfect ride by Randall Simons. She is trained by Hollywoodbets-sponsored Stuart Pettigrew and well done to the breeders Syrilla Stud. Well done to Hollywoodbets Brand Ambassador Stacey-Lee May who named her.
