Brett and James Crawford have been officially approved to operate as a joint training partnership, marking a significant milestone for Crawford Racing.
James Crawford has been assisting his father as a trainer in Johannesburg. James has achieved notable success, having trained two Durban July winners, Winchester Mansion and Oriental Charm, from his Johannesburg base.
The joint partnership came into effect on 7 December 2024.
Brett Crawford was born on the 7th of September 1971 in Harare Zimbabwe, he has always had a love and passion for the horse racing industry, from a young age of 11 he used to muck out in the yards and ride work before going to school, he was also a very successful amateur rider winning many races over the hurdles.
