Eric Sands has recently been associated with some top thoroughbred individuals, in the form of recent Cape Town Met winner, Rainbow Bridge and his half brother Golden Ducat. Born in Johannesburg, he currently trains out of Milnerton in Cape Town and has recently been added to list of trainers looking after a Hollywood Syndicate horse.

He previously worked in the UK for Anthony Johnson and enjoyed a short stint with Fred Winter in Lambourne. Liam Browne on the Curragh, Ireland, who produced some brilliant apprentices and lastly, Bruce Hobbs in Newmarket.

Now a trainer for almost 40 years, he has trained the likes of Flobayou and Grande Jete, amongst many more and we are excited about the prospect of Eric training horses for the Hollywood Syndicate.
