September 25th, 2022
347 – EL REY VIENE wins the Star Merchant Maiden Plate over 1800m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The son of William Longsword is trained by Hollywoodbets-sponsored Duncan Howells and bred by Mr G J Armitage.

September 4th, 2022
Raced over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. Finished 7th out of 12 runners.
Anthony Delpech post-race comment: Very green on the turn. He lost his position because he was very nervous around the bend. He needs racing to improve.

August 24th, 2022
He had a fair first start bearing in mind that he is looking for much further. As discussed, we will look for a 1600m for his next start. He has shown improvement in his work over the last few weeks and I feel that he will show more improvement from run to run.

August 14th, 2022
Raced over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. Finished 10th out of 14 runners.
Anthony Delpech post-race comment: Very green, he had no speed and stayed on at the finish. He will be much better over further next time as that’s what he is looking for.

Comment from Duncan Howells:
El Rey Viene has grown a lot. Good action and very balanced. I expect a late 2yr old and nice 3yr.
