Trainer Robbie Sage is based in Gauteng and trains out of Randjiesfontein Training Centre. He saddled his first runner which was a winner, Desert Fling on 12 April 2008. Robbie has saddled over 250 winners including a Grade 1 victory with Coral Fever. He has trained four Grade 2 winners as well as four Grade 3 winners.
His first horse for the Hollywood Syndicate is Stroopsoet who is a son of Pomodoro out of the mare Konfessional (Kahal).
