A busy week continues for the Holywood Syndicate this Wednesday 7th October 2020, when three more runners line up on the Hollywoodbets Greyville Polytrack. East Coast Radio have named our debutante, East Coast Star, in the first race and we’ll be hoping for a big run from this nicely bred daughter of Visionaire. East Coast Star is now ready to get going and Jabu Jacobs rides, jumping from barrier 8 of 10. She will certainly need further in time and she needs to tighten up which she will do with racing. We are looking to treat this run as a barrier trial to bring her forward fitness wise and give her a nice introduction and education. This run should bring her on nicely and she is the sort of filly that is going to improve with racing, but at this stage we’ll be looking to give her the run.

She is doing well with Donovan Dillon, who rides her here and the stable has been very happy with her work leading up to this run. She clearly raced too keenly in her last start and we expect to see significant improvement from her this time around. She should have a nice place chance.
Winning Form Comment: Ex Wright AJ-2020.07.01. 2nd run after rest. Best MR:76. Needed handicap debut. Can improve back on the poly.

3 – Purple Powahouse

After two decent post maiden efforts in handicap company, he steps back up to the 1100m with Lyle Hewitson retaining the ride. With two points shaved off his rating he lands a plum draw here and this son of What A Winter looks well placed to run a big race now. If all goes to plan, he should be good enough to find a top four place with an outside winning chance.
Winning Form Comment: Best MR:71. Not disgraced in both handicap runs. Rises in class but may be up to the task.
