Bred by top KZN breeders Spring Valley Stud, this is an Irish Flame filly out of the National Emblem mare, Galingale who is the half sister to EXHILARATION (winner of the Premiers Champion Stakes Gr1).

She is a cracking filly with plenty of scope.

From the family that has produced the likes of GRECIAN GALE (12 time winner including the Turffontein F&M Stakes Gr2), WENDYWOOD (winner of the Woolavington Gr1 and Champion 3YO Middle distance Female in 2008), POWER KING (winner of the Vodacom Durban July Gr1) and BEZANOVA(winner of the Charity Mile Gr2).

Stable Placement:
She covers lots of ground and this is an indicator of the big action she will have at top speed. A classic, strong looking filly who we are very excited about. She joined the Brett Crawford yard in KZN, after a spell with Alyson Wright and has now been left with Peter Muscutt who has recently taken out his trainers license.

Raced over 2000m at Turffontein on the Inside course. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: It was a very one paced effort. She had no cover in the early part of the race. She will be better on a track with a longer run-in.

November 2nd, 2021
MRS HOTLINE finished 4th over 1400m at the Vaal, finishing 2.40 lengths off the winner. Jockey Craig Zackey gives us his post race comments. MRS HOTLINE is owned by the Hollywood Syndicate and trained by Candice Dawson.

October 7th, 2021
She was having her first run for the Candice Dawson stable over 1600m on the Vaal Classic course. She showed signs of needing the outing and will come on with the run under the belt. She is better suited to further and she should return to best form in her next few starts.

May 2nd, 2021
She ran a very good race when finishing second over 2400m against the males at Hollywoodbets Greyville on the turf. The manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging and she will be worth following in races to come. See the replay here

April 5th, 2021
She was pushed out wide in the early stages today and her pilot was unable to get her into a decent position. She is much better than today’s outing and will be back to fight another day.

February 28th, 2021
It was another solid effort by this filly today, despite the race being reduced in trip with the move to the Hollywoodbets Greyville Polytrack. She stayed on well for 3rd. See the replay here.

February 7th, 2021
It was a much improved run from Mrs Hotline today. She stayed on well to finish 3rd and should be able to progress into the winners enclosure again soon. See the replay of her run here.

February 5th, 2021
Mrs Hotline finishing off after a solid 1000m gallop on the Polytrack, earlier this week.

She was obviously very disappointing in her last start on the Polytrack, where she raced on the inside and there appeared to be a major track bias against horses who were on the fence. As such, we have drawn a line through that performance. She still appears to be in good form and her work is pleasing in the lead up to this test. From a very favourable draw, she should get the run of the race and can bounce back to feature in the finish.

January 18th, 2020
Mrs Hotline, strong up the hill at the end of her final workout yesterday, before her race at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon. She is in good form heading in and despite taking on the boys the stable feels she will give a good account of herself again from the ideal draw, where she is likely to get a good run in transit.

December 11th, 2020
Mrs Hotline ran an improved race today, finishing in second place in a race run with a sedate tempo early. She was left a bit flat footed turning for home, but ran all the way to the line. She just needs a good gallop over this trip to show her best which is not what she’s getting. With that said, the stable are confident when the opportunity presents itself over further, we will then see the best of her. See the replay of her run here.

December 7th, 2020
Mrs Hotline, far side, finishing her work off well this morning. She runs on Friday 11 December in a Fillies and Mares MR83 Handicap over 1900m, on the Hollywoodbets Greyville Turf.

She is fit and well heading in to this race and the switch to the Turf will be in her favour. Jabu Jacobs rides again jumping from a favourable 3 draw.

She had no luck at her last start where she was hampered twice in the running but still finished off well for just a 2,6 length defeat at the line. Although she meets a competitive field, she should bounce back to her best with the right run in transit and be competitive.

November 9th, 2020
Mrs Hotline, far side, working alongside company on Monday. She runs on Sunday 12 November in a MR 77 F&M Handicap over 1900m, with apprentice Jabu Jacobs retaining the ride after her luckless last start. She is in good form, she continues to thrive physically and is really looking well. On top of that, her work at home has been solid.

She is awkwardly drawn at 9, but we will still try to be positive on her and hopefully find a spot in mid-division. It is an open looking field but with a bit of luck in running she can be competitive.

October 26th, 2020
Mrs Hotline working this morning. The stable are very happy with her heading into this race. She is very fit with this being her peak run. With Jabu Jacob’s 2.5kg claim, she is effectively a pound better off in this handicap after being penalized 4kg when winning last time. From barrier 3, she should get the run of the race with two likely front runners in the field and we’re expecting another prominent performance from her.

October 7th, 2020
Mrs Hotline picks up her 2nd career win at a starting price of 25/1, when winning the 4th race at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon. She looked a picture in the ring and this is a fitting result for the Brett Crawford stable. Well done to Peter Muscutt and his KZN team, jockey Donovan Dillon and breeder Bruce Le Roux. It was great to have Hollywood Ambassador Mike Proctor on course to lead her in. See the replay here.

September 3rd, 2020
Seen on the far side galloping this morning. She has progressed very well and has responded brilliantly to her tying up programme, having shown no inclination to tie up at all. Because it is quite a concentrated programme where she works every afternoon as well as mornings she is quite forward fitness wise. She will gallop again next week and then be entered for a fillies and mares MR 75 handicap over a mile on towards the middle of this month on the Hollywoodbets Greyville turf track. This will be a good starting point for this prep before she takes a step up to a more suitable trip for her

July 1st, 2020
She outstayed the opposition in the 6th race at Hollywoodbets Greyville today, producing the expected improvement to land her maiden victory at just the 3rd time of asking under a well judged ride by Tristan Godden. Well done to the Alyson Wright stable for overcoming the odds to get her this far, and to breeders Spring Valley Stud.

September 10th, 2019
Flame Of Elegance has really started to turn the corner. Seen here having a grass gallop this morning and it was clear that she was the superior filly of the two, closest to the camera. This will bring her on nicely.

May 10th, 2019
A beautifully balanced filly, she has unfortunately struggled with a few colic related issues over the summer. We have let her spend most of this year back at the farm, but being a filly who is bred for ground we have never considered rushing her. She is most likely going to debut as a 3yr old.

November 28th, 2018
Update on Flame of Elegance, she has been broken in and has been cantering every day for the past 6 weeks. She was bought in off the farm on Tuesday 27th November and has already settled in at Summerveld, with Alyson Wright. Within a day of arriving, she has already had her first workout at Summerveld – clip below. She is the second horse in the clip and is being led by a very smart Querari colt.

August 1st, 2019
This beautiful Irish Flame filly has settled in well and despite a few colic issues, she should come through the spring a much improved filly.
