After three consecutive seconds, he appears to have found the right field here and lands a plum draw for this slight drop in trip. Calvin Habib retains the ride and if all goes to plan he should have a very good chance of finding the winners enclosure in what appears to be a relatively weak maiden.
Winning Form Comment: Runner-up in all three outings under this rider and looks the biggest threat.

He appears to have landed on a competitive rating now and looks set to show further improvement if overcoming a tricky barrier. Having over-raced in his last start we’ll be hoping that the jockey booking of Muzi Yeni makes all the difference and that should set him up nicely. The step up to the 1450m does present a bit of a question mark around whether or not he will stay the trip as he is relatively unexposed over this distance, so we’ll be hoping for a fair tempo here.

He appears to have gone off the boil since winning his maiden back in February this year, but he does have his peak run back after a rest and he’s cherry ripe for this. Having dropped another 7 points in the ratings, he is starting to look well handicapped now and some improvement will be expected this time.
Winning Form Comment: Rested 11 wks. Best MR:79. The break may have done him the world of good. Must improve.

He was very distressed after his last start which is always a bit of a concern considering that we’ll be expecting him to give us 100% effort here. With that said, he wasn’t disgraced in that comeback run and once again the form of that race has worked out quite nicely. From a fair draw, we’ll be hoping that he has quickly forgotten about his last experience at the races and if that is the case, he should show some improvement in this tough graduation plate.
