He showed very good signs of a form return over 1200m at the Vaal today. He moved up like a winner, but was caught in the shadow of the post. He is in a very good space and it should not be long before he finds himself in the winner’s enclosure.

He made his debut for the Patrick Lunn camp and had his first start on the polytrack surface. He had to overcome the widest draw and worked hard, but the manner in which he stayed on at the finish was encouraging. He will be worth following when jumping from a good barrier position.
