He wasn’t entirely tuned up for his debut effort over the 1000m which was always going to be on the sharp side for him. With that said, he stayed on nicely in the latter stages and jockey Mark Khan was very happy with that performance for a horse who on pedigree and physique, wants 2000m in time. He steps up to the 1400m which he is going to relish. He has come on from his debut effort and with that experience under the belt, he will be a much better horse this time around. He gets a handy draw for his first attempt around the bend and if settling well in the early stages, he should go close to winning this. We’ll give him a solid place chance.
Winning Form Comment: Stayed on well in debut run. Bred for this and further and has plenty of scope. Include.

After his disappointing last start, Lyle Hewitson dismounted and immediately commented on his dislike for the poly track. He is such a nice colt, that we initially decided to give him some time off to grow more and the intention was to bring him back as a 3 year old next season. However, since that run two weeks ago he has really come on in leaps and bounds. So much so, that we are giving him one more shot at the winners box, to see if we can qualify him for the breeders race on July day. He returns to the turf for this run and with the 2.5kg claim off his back, he has a very good chance of winning this. We give him a good each way chance.
Winning Form Comment: Didn’t enjoy the poly last time. Has scope and rates a threat with the 2.5kg claim.
