Raced over 1600m at Turffontein on the Inside course in the Listed Syringa Handicap. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: The distance was too far for her. Sean Tarry will bring her back to 1400m or 1200m.

CARALLUMA never looked like a winner until the last 50m. She was hanging badly in her previous start. Sean changed the bit, which stopped her from hanging, and made the difference. She was a given a strong ride by apprentice Joshwin Solomons.
