3 – Global High
Trainer: Darryl Moore
Jockey: Stuart Randolph
Wgt: 58.0kg
Draw: 3 (14 Runners)
Predicted Betting: 25/1

A small but racy filly by the well performed freshman sire, Global View, she steps out for her debut and we will be looking for a positive showing first up. She has been working well and although she is quite green, we expect to see her finish in the first 6 places.

Winning Form Comment: First run. Sister to: BOLD COAST 7g (39: 7,21)

Race 8 – 16:00
1000m – Social Distancing FM 90 Handicap (F&M)

2 – Candy Galore
Trainer: Gareth Van Zyl
Jockey: Warren Kennedy
Wgt: 61.5kg
Draw: 2 (13 Runners)
Predicted Betting: 5/2

This is a very speedy filly who has her first run for the Hollywood Syndicate after being purchased privately. She comes into this race on the back of a smart performance last time out, when finishing runner up in stronger company and with Warren Kennedy up she should go very close to winning this. We give her a solid place chance and a useful chance of winning.

Winning Form Comment: 3rd run after rest. Best MR:93. In good form for Kennedy, biggest threat.

5 – Travelling Light
Trainer: Garth Puller
Jockey: Thambiso Gumede (-2.5kg)
Wgt: 62.5kg
Draw: 55 (13 Runners)
Predicted Betting: 14/1

She drops significantly in class after being outperformed at the highest level last time out. Another positive is that she drops back to the minimum trip where she has picked up both of her career wins and that will certainly suit her style of running. The 2.5kg claiming Thabiso Gumede takes the ride and from a prominent position throughout, we expect her to be involved in the finish and she deserves plenty of respect here. it would be a surprise to see her miss the first 3 places.

Winning Form Comment: 3rd run after rest. Best MR:99. Faced much stronger in the SA Fillies Sprint, can improve.
