He gave a very good account of himself on his return to racing in early June. That was over the mile and despite the trip being short of his best, he ran on very strongly in the closing stages and looks perfectly set up for this 2400m trip. In addition to his wellbeing, he has dropped to a competitive mark of 79 and now looks incredibly well handicapped to go right into contention at this level. Anton Marcus takes the mount which makes it an attractive jockey booking and with the above in mind, he appears to be one of the better bets on the card.

This is a talented filly who is yet to show us how good she really is. Although she lines up in her toughest test to date where she may be out of her depth at this stage of her career, we’ll be expecting her to give a good account of herself. She may not have much of a winning chance, but it would be no big surprise to see her finish 3rd or 4th.

He is lightening fast over this sort of trip and will relish the drop back from 1200m, where he was found wanting from a wide draw at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time out. Callun Murray jumps aboard this son of Querari, who has his second outing in the Hollywood Syndicate silks, and we’ll be expecting a much improved performance this time around. He appears to be drawn on the right side and from a prominent position should find the first 4 places, with an outside win chance.
