He gave a decent account of himself last time out, when attempting to follow up that maiden win in his penultimate start, with a big performance in much stronger company. Racing keenly in the early stages, he managed to finish off his run well in what was a small but competitive field and that form line has held up well.
He is down in class this time around, on his return to the same course and distance, and he has plenty of scope for improvement. With Tristan Godden back aboard the son of Gimmethegreenlight, he should be one of the leading contenders at the business end and should be worth an each way bet at this level.
Winning Form Comment: Rested 14 wks. Encouraging post maiden effort. Would have strengthened up. Big danger.

He certainly enjoyed the quicker tempo last time out, when dropping to the 1200m, showing a smart turn of foot in the closing stages to grab 2nd place. He returns to the same course here and lands a plum draw which should allow him to settle just off the leading line, if all goes to plan early on.
Off his current mark of 74, he looks well handicapped to go right into contention here and has strong place credentials.

This daughter of Captain Of All has continued to slip in the ratings, having finished just off them in recent times and she is starting to look very well handicapped in this class.
She finds a plum draw here, but may just find the 1200m a touch on the sharp side. With that said, this sprint will sharpen her up nicely for a step up in trip in the next few weeks and that’s where we’ll see the best of her.
