A third reserve here, he may have to wait a little longer before he lines up for his third career start, but if his turn does materialise this Sunday we’ll be expecting a much-improved performance from this son of What A Winter.

He gave a very good account of himself last time out, when finishing within a length of Phinda Mzala. A slight concern would be that he was reportedly distressed after the race and this might be a bit of a concern on his return here. Drawn 1, he gets the services of Anton Marcus and the stable are very confident that if all goes to plan he will be a big runner.

A stable companion to Kings Road here, he too makes the trip down from Gauteng to the province where he picked up his maiden victory. That was on the Polytrack earlier this year and he appears to have struggled since then. With that said, he has dropped significantly in the ratings and seems to be showing signs of improvement.
