June 18th, 2021
She had her first run over 1200m for Alan Greeff at Fairview Racecourse this afternoon. She stumbled at the start and showed signs of needing the outing. She will come on from the run and will improve when going over further.

Zulu Citation has arrived in Gqberha (Port Elizabeth) and will now be trained by Alan Greeff.

May 13th, 2021

April 5th, 2021
The stable did a lung wash on her and found that she had a lung infection. She was on treatment before this race. She is going to be given one more chance after today’s modest showing.

11 – Zulu Citation
Trainer: Alyson Wright
Jockey: Lyle Hewitson
Wgt: 60.0kg
Draw: 11 (12 Runners)
Predicted Betting: 10/1

Trainer Comment: She has a poor draw and the 1200m will be a touch on the sharp side for her, but feel we need to get her back running so she can learn from the experience. With that in mind, we’ll be happy to see her finish 4 or 5 lengths off the winner.

Winning Form Comment: Sister to: PEGWELL BAY 10m (31: 4, 8). Rested 17 wks. Something amiss on debut. Would have strengthened up and can improve.

August 24th, 2020
Named by the well known philanthropist, actress and Hollywoodbets ambassador Nomzamo Mbatha, this filly stepped out for her much needed debut today and it was great to have Nomzamo on course to support her.

April 9th, 2020
Zulu Citation (far side) working with her stable companions at Summerveld this morning. She has been doing nicely and typical of the Wylie Halls, she is getting better with time.

February 28th, 2020
After two months of strength and conditioning work since arriving off the farm, she is starting to show us quite a lot in her work. Every challenge she has faced so far, she has met with consummate ease and she is starting to show signs of being an above average sort. With her highly anticipated debut run being just weeks away, we are very excited to see what the future hold for this filly.

August 24th, 2019
Her near fore hoof has grown through really well and it is a relief to see such a well conformed filly shake off a potentially career damaging condition. She has matured very well over the winner, so much so that we have decided to give her a few more months on the farm, where she is really going to thrive over the spring.

June 12th, 2019
She seems to be over the condition she experienced over the autumn, which is great news. She has settled in nicely and she seems to be progressing well. More below.

“Sublimity has become a firm favorite in the yard. Her great attitude and sweet nature have made working with her a pleasure. Her greasy heel is completely healed and Robbie has been working on her foot. Her condition has greatly improved and she is overall a much happier picture.”

A beautiful mover at the CTS Premier sale 2019, she has plenty of class about her. She did unfortunately, develop a bit of mud-fever in late March but on her prognosis, she will shake that off. She gives the impression as with most Wylie Halls, that she will need a bit of time and she will be one to look out for in mid-2020. She is currently being broken in and we will look to bring her into full training towards the end of Winter.
