INT WIN – IL ETAIT TEMPS, a Grade 1 winner over the hurdles, now wins on his chase debut at Thurles. He tracked the leader in 2nd throughout the race before hitting the front with once fence left to jump, and with an asserted run-in, won comfortably by 4.5 lengths. This grey gelding was ridden to victory by Paul Townend and trained by Willie Mullins. He is owned in partnership between Barnane Stud and the Hollywood Syndicate.

484 – POORLITTLERICHGIRL finds that little bit extra to win the 4th race at Turffontein under a measured ride by Winning Form-sponsored jockey Kabelo Matsunyane. This Ridgemont-bred daughter of Dynasty is trained by Brett Crawford and now becomes a two-time winner.

483 – An incredible photo finish in the 7th race at Hollywoodbets Scottsville sees 6 horses cross the line with just a neck separating them, but KUPHOLIWE gets his head down to dead-heat with Lunarcam, and claim the shared 1st position. Kupholiwe records his 2nd career win thanks to Winning Form-sponsored jockey Richard Fourie (who secures his 5th win for the day) and Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Peter Muscutt. This William Longsword gelding is bred by Klawervlei Stud.

482 – WHIRLYBIRD turned it on in the final furlong to fly home for the Hollywood Syndicate at the Vaal in the Lucky Last. She was given a great ride by apprentice Siyanda Sosibo and is trained by Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Clinton Binda. This daughter of Canford Cliffs was bred by Ridgemont, and is now a two-time winner.

Debut – A really nice debut run from WISSA’S ON FIRE (purple cap) at Hollywoodbets Scottsville, finishing a short-head 2nd to the eventual winner El Draque. Another Hollywood Syndicate runner in THE SHEPHERD (yellow cap) was a nose into 3rd, giving a swinger to us in the first. WISSA’S ON FIRE will now travel to Cape Town for the Cape Season with his trainer Gareth van Zyl. On the day, the Hollywood Syndicate had four 2nd place finishes in the first four races!

481 – FINAL EDITION goes from start to finish to shed his maiden tag over 1900m at Fairview Racecourse this afternoon. He was given a confident ride by Winning Form-sponsored Jockey Richard Fourie. He is trained by Alan Greeff and is bred by Ridgemont.

480 – ZIYASHA showed good guts and determination to win Race 2 over 1000m on the Turffontein Inside course. Jockey Muzi Yeni dictated his own fractions up front and the son of Rafeef fought back well to notch up his third-career victory.
