She is a winner of her last three starts and has been trained to perfection by Mike de Kock. She is bred by Team Valor International (Nom: Mr B Irwin).

335 – IPHIKO won Race 1 at Hollywoodbets Greyville in the Global Team Horse Racing event last night. She showed her natural speed and fought back well under a perfect ride by Winning Form-sponsored Keagan de Melo. Well done to Brand Ambassador Akona Ndungane who named the daughter of Trippi, and who has now won two in a row.

332 – IPHIKO wins Race 3 at Hollywoodbets Scottsville over 1000m with ease. She showed good speed under Winning Form-sponsored jockey Keagan de Melo and never looked back. The daughter of Trippi is trained by Mike de Kock.

Iphiko will be travelling to the Robbie Dawson farm tomorrow for a rest, so she can heal from a sore back which has been troubling her for a while. We believe a rest is the only thing that will heal the problem.

Raced over 1000m at Turffontein. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: She played up badly in the stalls and missed the start. Much improved run and she looks like she will prefer a bit further.

She made her debut over 1000m on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon. She lost two lengths coming out the gates and was reported to be not striding out. She still has plenty of scope and there should be plenty of improvement to come from the daughter of Trippi.

This filly has come a long way since joining up with the Mike De Kock team. Having started out in Di De Kocks “nursery”, she is now ready to begin phase two of her prep and should be joining up with Mike De Kock in the next few weeks.

She is still quite backward and is taking time to strengthen up. With that said, she progressing nicely and should be ready to come into the next phase of her career in the coming months. Seen below grazing in one of the paddocks on the Sally Bruss leased farm.
