BSA – Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale 2019 – Hollywood Syndicate Purchases

The Hollywood Syndicate made two exciting purchases at the 2019 BSA Ready To Run Sale, on Sunday 3rd November 2019. First up was a smart Capetown Noir colt, bred by Summerhill Stud, followed by an very athletic Duke Of Marmalade filly, bred by Ndoro Stud. See more about them here.

It was a steamy affair at a hot and summery TBA Sale complex on Sunday 3rd November 2019, where 145 lots were on offer at one of the last sales of 2019. In the end, we picked up two horses that we really wanted.

Firstly, lot 115, a solid Capetown Noir colt, out of a the black type producing Rose North (Northern Guest). He was a late foal, but he certainly wasn’t underdone and he has plenty of scope to grow a little more. He has already arrived at Robbie Dawsons spelling operation in Hammarsdale and we’ll be looking forward to seeing how he progresses over the next 6 weeks.

Finally, we managed to secure lot 133 late in the day – a beautifully, athletic filly by Duke Of Marmalade. She is out of the Victory Moon mare, Song Of Victory. Bred for the mile, she may take a little more time but she was an early foal and should run as a two year old, towards the middle of next year. She too, arrived at Robbie Dawsons spelling farm with our other purchase and we look forward to seeing how she progresses over the coming months.
