Raced over 1200m at the Vaal. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: She broke through the front of the stalls before the race and I fell that was her race gone. Keagan said she travelled well but never found much. I feel she could be better over 1000m, but Mike de Kock said to me that he wants to try her over 1400m or 1600m because she is bred to go further.

October 3rd, 2021
Waya Yire had to overcome an awkward draw of seven over 1200m on the Vaal Classic course. She was given a chance and stayed on to finish fourth. The daughter of Querari still has plenty of scope and there should be a lot more to come from her.

September 16th, 2021
She ran a good race when finishing third in her first run out the Maidens over 1000m on the Vaal Classic course. The manner in which she finished off her race suggests that she will enjoy slightly further which gives her more options. There is a lot more to come from the daughter of Querari.

July 1st, 2021
She showed good guts and determination when winning Race 2 on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon. She was steered to victory by Calvin Habib and brought to the course in perfect order by Mike de Kock. Well done to the breeders Wilgerbosdrift and Mauritzfontein. See the replay here.

June 17th, 2021
She ran a creditable race in her second outing over 1160m at Turffontein today. She showed good speed, but did not go on with the effort. She may be better suited to 1000m at this stage of her career. It should not be long until she finds herself in the winner’s enclosure.

May 22nd, 2021
She made her racing debut at Turffontein on the Standside course over 1000m. She showed natural gate speed and stayed on nicely to finish third. The daughter of Querari will come on from the experience and should have plenty of improvement to come.

August 14th, 2020
She has arrived in the Western Cape to be spelled by Sally Bruss on her new establishment. The type of filly that should progress nicely through the spring, we will be following her progress closely.
