He is gradually learning with each run, especially on how to settle in the early parts of the race. Looking at his most recent performances, he also seems to run well with the 4kg claimer – Kabelo Matsunyane. That said, this is a rather competitive maiden plate and we will be looking for him to finish off his run well in the latter stages, should he travel well in the early parts. He has a fair place chance here.
Winning Form Comment: Better than last run, should cope with extra distance and runner-up of last start has won since.

After a promising debut run, where he faced traffic issues at the start and ran on nicely late on, he has come on from that effort. He would’ve benefited in terms of experience and considering that the form line has stood up, we expect him to have a big impact on the outcome of this race. That is, should he get in. He is the first reserve runner so we are relying on one of the declared runners to be withdrawn. Should he take part, he has a nice place chance.
Winning Form Comment: Fair debut despite issues and 3rd placed runner has won since.
