He faces his biggest test to date, where he lines up in this R400 000 contest against some of the major talking horses in the Cape. That said, he isn’t just here to make up the numbers and we are expecting a bold effort from him on Saturday. Chimichuri Run still needs to confirm that he is actually looking for this kind of ground, so there could be an element of speculation to the current 11/2 on offer. That probably isn’t the case about One World who is a worthy favourite and without doubt the horse to beat. His ultimate goal appears to be the Cape Guineas Gr1 in 3 weeks time, so this 1600m is going to suit him down to the ground. Seattle Force has a slightly different program planned, where he is being aimed towards the Politician Stakes (Derby Trial) over 1800m and then the Cape Derby Gr1 over 2000m on Met Day.
He is super fit and exceptionally well in himself, so should any of the strongly fancied runners fluff their lines, he could just be there to pick up the pieces. We wouldn’t be overly surprised to see him run a place here, so he gets an outside place chance.
Winnningform Comment: Highly rated colt, faces a major test here and badly out at the weights.
