He has improved in each of his four outings since returning to racing in early June. After a solid effort over the 1000m trip last time, he now gets the benefit of the 2,5kg apprentice claim and that should make him a big factor here.
With that said, Diego De Gouveia has jumped ship and now rides the Stuart Pettigrew trained Vars Vicky, who impressed on debut and appears to be the one to beat.
