The big galloping son of Mambo In Seattle returns after a 10 week break, to the course where he has picked up two wins from two starts. He’s flourished since that last start, a sign that he has really enjoyed his holiday and his grass work leading into this race is indicative of exactly that. Although the mile may be a touch on the sharp side, he’ll be looking to show the field a clean set of heels at the top of the straight and he’ll be tough to catch. He will be slightly in need of the run, but his ability alone brings him right into contention. On paper he has one or two to beat, so if not landing top honours he’ll be in the first three places.
