448 – GRADE 1 MERCURY SPRINT – ISIVUNGUVUNGU wins the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon. He used his natural gate speed to overcome his awkward draw, Winning Form-sponsored jockey Richard Fourie dictated his own terms in front and he showed good guts to hold all challengers at bay. Well done to Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Peter Muscutt who turned him out in perfect condition and to the breeders Narrow Creek Stud. Well done to Brand Ambassador Odwa Ndungane who named the son of What A Winter. Well Done Team!

447 – MOYA WA LALIGA wins Race 5 over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville this afternoon. He showed good speed and kept finding under Sporting Post-sponsored jockey Athandiwe Mgudlwa to notch up his third career victory. He is trained by Gareth van Zyl and is bred by Mr P van Tonder.

The Hollywood Syndicate’s colours were seen in the first race at Newbury in the UK today carried by Bourgeoisie, who was ridden by Sean Levey. The British-bred Siyouni filly produced a powerful late run in the six furlong Maiden Fillies Stakes and was unlucky to lose on the head bob. That was just her second career start. She is an impressive specimen and is one to follow.

446 – TROIS TROIS QUATRE wins Race 4 over 1950m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville this afternoon. He was settled near the rear of the field, quickened up well and won easier than the margin suggests. The son of Rafeef was given a confident ride by JP van der Merwe and is trained by Mike de Kock. Well done to the breeders Wilgerbosdrift and Mauritzfontein. Well done to Brand Ambassador and Syndicate manager, Anthony Delpech who named Trois Trois Quatre. The name is 334 which is the record number of wins by a jockey in a SA racing season, which is held by Anthony Delpech. The words have been translated to French going back to Anthony’s roots from his birth and upbringing in the Seychelles.

445 – AFROPOLITAN went from start to finish to win Race 5 at Hollywoodbets Greyville on the polytrack this afternoon. The son of Master Of My Fate was ridden to victory by Sporting Post-sponsored jockey Athandiwe Mgudlwa and is now a three-time winner. He is trained by Gareth van Zyl and is bred by Mr GJ Armitage.

444 – SHIPHOLIA wins the New Turf Carriers eThekwini Sprint and gives the Syndicate a treble on the card. The daughter of William Longsword was ridden to victory by Winning Form-sponsored jockey Cole Dicken and was brought to the course in perfect condition by trainer Gareth van Zyl. She is bred by Klawervlei Stud.

The son of Flower Alley was given a perfect ride by Rachel Venniker to get the better of Eventidor in second. He is now a five-time winner and is bred by Moutonshoek.

442 – IMPERIOUS DESTINY wins Race 2 over 1400m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack this afternoon with fellow Syndicate runner Shanta’s Pride finishing second. The daughter of Visionaire is now a two-time winner and was ridden to victory by Winning Form-sponsored jockey Keagan de Melo. She is trained by Hollywoodbets-sponsored Alyson Wright and is bred by Lammerskraal Stud.

441 – INSIDE STORY notches up his second career victory at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth over 1600m this afternoon. He was given a perfect ride by Winning Form-sponsored Jockey Keagan de Melo and was brought to the course in fantastic condition by trainer Brett Crawford. The son of Dynasty is bred by Ridgemont.

439 – ZIYASHA wins the first race on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon. He showed good speed over 1000m and fought back well under jockey Calvin Habib. The son of Rafeef is trained by Hollywoodbets-sponsored Clinton Binda and is bred by Ridgemont.
