243 – ONE BITE AT A TIME – ONE BITE AT A TIME wins the second race at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon. She was taken to the front of the field by Anton Marcus, found another kick at the top of the straight and kept going well to notch up her first career victory.

She was a tad disappointing at Hollywoodbets Scottsville this afternoon, but her penultimate run suggests that she is better on the polytrack and around the turn. She is much better than today’s effort and when returning to her favourite track and trip, she should give a good account of herself. See the replay here.

She showed very good improvement in her first start on the polytrack over 1200m. She challenged strongly all the way to the line, but was touched off in the shadow of the post. She will go further in time, but should be competitive in her next start. See the replay here.

She had her second career start at Hollywoodbets Scottsville over 1600m today. She moved up well, but the mile may have been a tad too far at this start of her career. She will progress with this effort under her belt and should show good improvement in her next outing.

Gretha’s Charm showing some nice work alongside a stable companion that is a lot more forward that she is. This filly is coming along very nicely and she has strengthened up well over the past 6 weeks. She is already at the stage of doing steady canters and at this rate she should be due for a run in the next 4 months.

Since arriving from her stint of spelling, this filly has really thrived. Here she is doing some exercise on the track, moving very well. She is the chestnut filly.

This filly is still quite backward, but she has a fair amount of time on her side and once she turns the corner she’ll no doubt develop into a strong, burly filly. A few more weeks under the watchful eye of Sally Bruss and she’ll be ready to come into full training by the end of the year.
