Name: JOZI HUSTLE
Named By: Hollywoodbets Gauteng Admin Team
Sex: Bay Colt
Foaled: 24/08/2016
Sire: Great Britain
Mare: Daintree Dancer (Mossman)
Breeder: Hadlow Stud
Trainer: Gary Rich
Purchased: KZN Yearling Sale, July 2018
Pedigree: View here
Record: 17-1-4
Status: Retired
Bred by Hadlow Stud, another colt by the KZN stallion Great Britain and out of the black type mare called Daintree Dancer (Mossman).
He was a very racy colt, considering that he is the first foal from this mare.
He most probably won’t be a big horse but he has everything in the right places and on inspection it was clear that he is going to be very athletic.
He shares the same family as the likes of KARAKA ONE (winner of the Greyville 1900 Gr2), GOOD TRADITION who won the Olympic Duel Stakes (Listed) and MERMAIDS FLANNEL (winner of the Michaelmas Handicap L).
Stable Placement:
He will be prepared for the racetrack at Clinton Binda’s private establishment.
UPDATES – Jozi Hustle
July 2nd, 2021
JOZI HUSTLE was retired by the Hollywood Syndicate on 29 June 2021. He had 17 starts for a win and four places.

We have recently decided to move this gelding to the Gary Rich stable, to give him a change of scenery. He may be limited ability wise, but we certainly feel that he may have another win left in the tank. Hopefully a change of strategy can draw some improvement out of this Great Britain gelding.

Jozi Hustle arrives as expected in the opener on the card, at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon. Well done to Clinton Binda and his team for this emphatic win, Winning Form sponsored Warren Kennedy for riding him and breeders Mr and Mrs J Martin. Great to have a few of the Hollywoodbets ladies on course to lead him in, looking fabulous as always.
Chief Officer ran a cracker to finish 2nd in the same race, to make it a first and second for the Hollywood Syndicate and his winning chance is just around the corner.

He is come along nicely and should just about be ready for his grass-gallop, to get him ready for a debut run. We will wait for the first spring rains, before he sees the course, as the going will be far too firm for him at this stage. Seen below after one of his recent afternoon walks,
