UPDATES – Ramchandani Road

September 8th, 2021
The son of Pathfork took on a competitive field over 1200m on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville today. He set the pace, but found three horses too good for him on the day. He is better suited to Handicap Company and he always gives of his best. See the replay here.

September 1st, 2021
The son of Pathfork ran another good race, finishing second over 1200m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville turf track this afternoon. He had his own way in front, but was outrun in the latter stages by Mashari. He is carded to race on 08 September 2021 and should give another good account of himself. See the replay of today’s race here

August 27th, 2021
He took his place in a 1200m race on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville today. He moved up very well before getting outrun in the latter stages to finish a creditable second. He is carded to race over 1200m on the polytrack on Wednesday – 01 September 2021. See the replay of today’s effort here.

August 5th, 2021
He showed very good signs of a form return over 1200m at the Vaal today. He moved up like a winner, but was caught in the shadow of the post. He is in a very good space and it should not be long before he finds himself in the winner’s enclosure.

May 24th, 2021
He made his debut for the Patrick Lunn camp and had his first start on the polytrack surface. He had to overcome the widest draw and worked hard, but the manner in which he stayed on at the finish was encouraging. He will be worth following when jumping from a good barrier position. See the replay here.

Ramchandani Road showed plenty of speed and stayed on smartly to win the 2nd Race out at Turffontein today, under a top ride by Piere “Striker” Strydom. Congratulations to the Clinton Binda stable and breeders Ridgemont Highlands. A great start to the weekend.

Maturing nicely, he looks to be a nice sprinter in the making. He’ll take a bit of time and we can expect to see him debut around January 2020. Seen below after one of his afternoon walks recently.
