Anthony Delpech post-race comment: He was a long way back and finished the race off very well and given a very quiet ride. He will improve a lot from the run and be very competitive next time over more ground.

March 11th, 2023
Raced over 2400m at Turffontein on the Standside course in the Listed 4Racing Aquanaut Handicap. Finished 4th out of 8 runners.
Anthony Delpech post-race comment: Good run up to a point up the straight, I believe the distance was a little too far.

March 4th, 2023
Raced over 1800m at Turffontein on the Standside course in the Listed Europa Point Drum Star Handicap. Finished 5th out of 11 runners.
Anthony Delpech post-race comment: Good run in Listed company.

November 22nd, 2022
Raced over 1600m at Turffontein on the Inside course. Finished 2nd out of 6 runners.
Anthony Delpech post-race comment: Good run over a distance short of his best.

November 6th, 2022
Raced over 1600m at Turffontein in the Grade 3 Tab4Racing Victory Moon Stakes. Finished 8th out of 17 runners.

October 20th, 2022
Raced over 1700m on the Vaal Classic course. Finished 2nd out of 6 runners.
Anthony Delpech post-race comment: He ran an honest race and the winner was too good. Sean Tarry wants to put him over 2000m, ride him from behind and see if he will finish his race off better.

August 26th, 2022
His last run was a good run, running second. The feedback was that we should try blinkers. Although I am happy to listen to that, this race was run in a very slow time and was a canter sprint. He is fit and well, and we look forward to his Joburg campaign.

August 21st, 2022
Raced over 1950m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. Finished 2nd out of 7 runners.
Anthony Delpech post-race comment: Keagan de Melo said he came through to win, but did not go on with it. He feels that he needs blinkers. After the race I looked at the time that they ran the race, was almost 10 seconds slower than the average time. I feel that could have been why he couldn’t get past the frontrunner.

July 20th, 2022
Raced over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. Finished 5th out of 9 runners.
Anthony Delpech post-race comment: He was very one paced, but it was too short for him. He should be hard to beat over 2000m.

June 7th, 2022
Raced over 1700m at the Vaal. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: In a very slow run race, he was boxed in on the rail with nowhere to go.

April 2nd, 2022
Raced over 2450m at Turffontein. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: He ran a much improved run, but came back with his one testicle that had gone up and was hurting him. So he will have to be gelded and this could be the reason for his poor performance.

March 5th, 2022
Raced over 1800m at Turffontein. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: He stopped badly up the straight. Anton Marcus said that it could have been the going as he had nothing to come when he turned for home.

January 22nd, 2022
Raced over 1800m on the Turffontein Inside course. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: Sean Tarry was happy with the run. He will be a better horse on the outside track with the longer run-in.

December 29, 2021
Comment from trainer Sean Tarry:
Platinum Sky has pulled up well with mild muscle tightness (from winning run on 2021/12/21). He will be programmed to run in the Sea Cottage on the 22nd of January. Even though it is not the ideal course it should bring him to his peak for the Classic on the 5th of March.

December 21, 2021
259 – PLATINUM SKY showed plenty of class when winning over 1800m at the Vaal this afternoon. Despite having to carry 61.5kgs, he quickened up smartly and won with authority. The son of Silvano is trained by Sean Tarry and was ridden to victory by Gavin Lerena.

November 18th, 2021
Raced over 2000m at the Vaal. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: I don’t feel he was given the best ride as he is a one paced horse and should have been closer to the pace. I still feel it was a good run for a 3 year old over this trip at the moment against older horses.

October 7th, 2021
He showed some signs of needing his effort over 1600m on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon. He raced from a handy position, was still green in running and stayed on to finish fourth. The son of Silvano will come on from this outing and he should strip a much fitter horse next time. He has plenty of ability and looks to have a bright future ahead of him.

June 26th, 2021
He won a good race over 1400m at Turffontein Racecourse this afternoon. He made the expected natural improvement and won with a ton in hand. Thank you and well done to Lyle Hewitson, Sean Tarry and breeders Maine Chance Farms. This marks the Syndicate’s 50th winner for the season.

May 8th, 2021
He made his debut at Turffontein this afternoon. He was drawn on the wrong side of the course and raced green. The son of Silvano will come on from the run and should have plenty of improvement to come in his next start.

January 15th, 2021
An outstanding performance by this colts half-sister, Princess Calla, to finish third in the Cartier Paddock Stakes Gr1 recently. See the replay here.

October 14th, 2020
This son of Silvano oozes class and he is taking every step of his preparation in his stride. We cannot wait to see how he matures over the coming months.

August 14, 2020
He has arrived in the Western Cape to be spelled by Sally Bruss on her new establishment. Being by Silvano he will take a bit more time, but he is full of class.
