LISTEN TO LILLY was purchased by the Hollywood Syndicate at the 2018 KZN Yearling Sale. This bay filly is sired by Bold Silvano, out of the dam Vivacity (Caesour), and was bred by Wicklow Stud.

Name: LISTEN TO LILLY (Previously – Mine All Mine)
Sex: Bay Filly
Foaled: 15/09/2016
Sire: Bold Silvano
Mare: Vivacity (Caesour)
Breeder: Wicklow Stud
Trainer: Cliffie Miller
Purchased: KZN Yearling Sale, July 2018
Pedigree: View here
Record: 7-0-1
Status: Retired

Bred by Wicklow Stud, she is a smart looking filly by Bold Silvano out of the Caesour mare called Vivacity.

She appears to be a sprinter / miler type filly with the family producing the likes of ROCK CANDY – winner of the Mercury Sprint (Gr1), AL MARRIACHI – winner of the Umkhomazi Stakes (Gr3) and the famous sprinter SENOR SANTA who needs little introduction having won the Computaform Sprint (Gr1) and the Mercury Sprint (Gr1) during his time.

Two other notable offspring who incidentally won over ground, from the 2nd and 3rd dams include LONDON GUEST (winner of the 2200m Gr3) and FLIGHT ALERT (winner of the Cape Guineas Gr1) respectively.

Stable Placement:
After not quite living up to expectations having shown great work on the sand, we have decided to send her up to Kimberley. She will prefer the sand track at Flamingo Park and will be looked after by Cliffie Miller.

This daughter of Bold Silvano was very encouraging in her barrier trial and it was as if she had done it all before. Since then, her work has been very encouraging and she has progressed well. This will just be a sight of the race course for her, under competitive conditions and the expected greenness is the reason why we can’t tip her with any confidence. The experience is going to do her wonders and she will certainly gain immensely from it. She should have an outside place chance in the 3rd race today, out at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse. Nice barrier by this filly, for her first sight of a racecourse. She showed a useful amount of speed and would’ve learned a lot from the experience. See the replay here:

Back in full training, Listen To Lilly has certainly flourished during her stint on the farm. She arrived back at stables at the end of June and has shown us some very encouraging work. She will be entered into a barrier trial over the next few weeks. This run will be used to get her going in her career. Watch this space.

She showed us lots of promise soon after she was broken in, before experience a few hiccups. As a result, we sent her back to the farm and it has turned out to be a great decision. She has just come back into training and she has clearly benefited from her time off.  She may take some time to get going, but we expect her to barrier in the next few weeks.

Previously known as Mine All Mine, our faithful betting control center has come up with a preferable name for this filly. Named after the teams matriarch, Lillian, it was a fitting option.
