Raced over 2000m at Turffontein. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: She had a poor draw and it was her first time over the distance. Sean Tarry decided to drop her in and see if she stays the trip. She stayed on up the straight but I feel she needs to go shorter and put the blinkers back on.

Raced over 1600m on the Turffontein Inside course. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: It was a good run at the weights for a 3 year old. I thought Keagan should have gone for his run on the outside as that’s where the best going was on the day.

ESCAPE ARTIST won the first race on the Turffontein Inside course this afternoon. She had a wide draw to overcome, but was ridden to perfection by jockey Keagan de Melo and the daughter of Pomodoro is trained by Sean Tarry. Well done to the breeders Klawervlei Stud.

Raced over 1450m at Turffontein. Sean Tarry post-race comment: I was very encouraged by her first run out the maidens. She travelled nicely, they went past her but she knuckled down and tried to fetch them in the latter stages. I do believe there is a win or two to come from her.
