Jevin Awotar has been afforded the opportunity to train two Hollywood Racing runners in Mauritius. Isikwishikwishi and Old Fashioned will be under his care on the Island. We look forward to seeing their progress and we are excited to see them race at Champ De Mars.
With over a decade of hands-on experience, Jevin has served as assistant trainer to multiple Group 1-winning stables including those of Brett Crawford and Ricky Maingard. From South Africa to Dubai, the UK, and Mauritius, Jevin has built a solid international résumé learning new training methods while always prioritising horse welfare. During his time in Mauritius, Jevin worked closely with trainer Ricky Maingard, often overseeing full stable operations with dedication and precision.
With a global outlook and a deep local understanding, Jevin is now ready to bring a new perspective to owners and the racing community, blending tradition with innovation.
