He ran a good race when second over this distance on the polytrack last time. He does face a competitive field, but he is doing very well at home and is ideally suited to this course and distance. New Mexico from the Tara Laing stable looks to be the biggest danger. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he is expected to finish in the top three.
Winning Form Comment: Best MR:85. Produced a good second-place finish on the polytrack last time. Deserves inclusion.

She has been disappointing in her two runs in the Eastern Cape. The stable have opted to drop her back to 1200m and start from scratch with her. The daughter of Lancaster Bomber is showing lovely work at home and we are hoping to see good improvement on race day.

She was disappointing in her first run after winning on debut but was reported to be coughing post-race. The daughter of Danon Platina is doing nicely in the lead up to this race and we are hoping to see improvement.
Winning Form Comment: Best MR:75. Should have finished closer last time. Has plenty of scope.

We would have preferred to see him race on the polytrack but the programme did not allow for that at this stage. He is expected to run a positive race and can finish in the money.
