Sunday, 18 October 2026
Champ de Mars (Mauritius)
Race 3 – 11:25 (SA Time)
1450m – The Totelepep Football Trophy (Middle Stakes)
Distance: 1450m
Surface: Turf
Runners: 5
4 – Isikwishikwishi
Trainer: Jevin Awotar
Jockey: Grant van Niekerk +0.5kg
Breeding: Alado (GB) – Varifast by Var (USA)
Weight: 56.5kg
Draw: 2 (5 runners)
Predicted Betting: 4/1
He was victorious over 1400m last time. It is a small but competitive field as Port Louis and Spirit’s Unite come off strong form lines. The son of Alado is doing well and with Grant van Niekerk retaining the ride, we are hoping to see him involved at the finish.
Winning Form Comment: Victorious over 1400m last time and merits healthy respect.
