Comment from trainer Sean Tarry:
Cornish Pomodoro had a reasonable comeback run on Summer Cup Day where he came from too far back in a slow run race. He is a horse that likes to race fresh, and we will find a suitable run for him next month.

Raced over 1600m at Turffontein. Sean Tarry post-race comment: I thought that the run was very good. I think a better ride would have seen him involved in the finish. However, he has had a big break between races and I feel this run will bring him on.
