744 – FOX ON THE RUN finished strongly to close off the meeting over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville this afternoon. Despite traffic problems at the top of the straight, Ridgemont-sponsored Jockey Richard Fourie got the best out of him. The son of Canford Cliffs is trained by Hollywoodbets-sponsored James Crawford and was bred by Ridgemont.

He was ridden to victory by Hollywood Racing-retained Jockey Sean Veale and is now a three-time winner. The son of Ideal World is trained by Hollywoodbets-sponsored MJ Odendaal and was bred by Riethuiskraal Stud. He was named after Lou Lou Lamusse who was on course to lead him in. 740 – GRACE’S KISS finishes strongly to win on debut over 1400m at Turffontein. The grey filly was given a well-timed ride by SplashOut-sponsored Jockey Calvin Habib. The daughter of Erik The Red is trained by Alec Laird and was bred by Varsfontein Stud. PURCHASE – Hollywood Racing purchased Lot 133 at the Racecoast Sales Two-Year Old Sale. This Rafeef colt is out of the Captain Al mare Charge D’ Affaires. The dam was a sprint specialist winning two races over 1200m, and placing over 1000m. The dam was a full sister to Always In Charge who won the Gr1 Medallion (2yo fillies 1200m), and 3rd in the Gr2 Cape Merchants (1200m). She was also a full sister to Captain Lars, who won the Listed Drum Star Handicap (1800) and placed in the Listed Wolf Power (1600), and Alascan Maiden (multiple stakes-placed filly). View Lot.
