Raced over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville on the polytrack. She pulled up lame. The vet x-rayed her knee and advised she be retired.

Raced over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: She missed the break slightly and was always chasing. Jockey S’manga Khumalo said that she needs a 1400m so she can be relaxed just off the pace and then she will give you a kick.

Raced over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville on the turf. Anthony Delpech post-race comment: Disappointing run. John Buckler the assistant trainer said that he has had a few of his horses run below par so he will have her checked by the vet as that’s not her ability.

She showed a lot of heart to win the third race over 1000m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville Polytrack today. She was returning from a 20-week break, showed pace and held on where it matters most. She is trained by Glen Kotzen and was ridden to perfection by Donovan Dillon. She is named by the Hollywoodbets House Keeping Team and it means ‘Love Handles’. Well Done Team!

She is back in full work after her injury. She is doing well at home and below is a video of her in her first grass gallop at Summerveld Training Centre.

She was disappointing this afternoon after producing two good second place finishes. She is much better than today’s effort and this run can be ignored. There will be more to come from the daughter of Var in the future.

Another solid effort by this filly today, finishing as the runner up once again. She showed a solid turn of foot to make up a lot of ground late. See the replay here.

Unfortunately she wasn’t moving as well as we would’ve liked this morning and decided it would be too risky to run her. After a full examination it appears as though she just had a bruised foot. She’ll be back in the nominations as soon as a race appears on the fixture list.

It was a brilliant morning spent with the Hollywoodbets Housekeeping Team, as they travelled to Summerveld Training Centre for an early morning breakfast before spending some time with this filly they named Imbejeje. She runs in race 1, this Sunday 14 February, at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

It was a decent effort by this filly first up, to finish 2nd. She was very green after hitting the front 250m from the finish, but she’ll learn a lot from the experience and should win for us soon. See the replay of her debut effort here.

Previously known as Shiffrin, our House Keeping Team have come together and renamed her Imbejeje. The direct translation of this name refers to ones Love Handles, or the area of skin that extends outwards from the hips.

Having enjoyed her spell at Woodhill Racing Estate in Paarl WC, she has been broken and started cantering on the track. This morning she arrived at Summerveld in KZN, to join up with the Glen Kotzen satellite team and we look forward to seeing her debut in a few months.

This Var filly is clearly enjoying the spring sun in the Western Cape. Seen this morning being walked on the Woodhill Racing Estate. She is a big, strong filly and the next few weeks are going to be key to her development.

This daughter of Var is certainly enjoying the paddock space. She still has some way to go before being backed and brought into training later on this year, but this is a crucial time in her life and she seems to be doing very well.
