He comes back into a maiden plate after beating a winner in his last start and on that effort, he should enjoy the slight drop in trip to a 1000m. The one to beat looks like the Kannemeyer inmate, who was quite eye-catching on debut. With that said, Chief Officer has the benefit of having a run under his belt at this course and he will be a very big runner. We give him an good chance.
