He has taken a lot longer to leave the maidens that we initially expected, after showing a fair amount of promise early on. If ridden a little more patiently, he should be able to finish off his run a lot better than he has been doing and that could induce the necessary improvement here. With that said, time could start to run out for him if he doesn’t show us something soon.

He returns to racing on the back of a very impressive maiden win earlier this year, for his handicap debut. A speedy son of top young sire, Vercingetorix, he could just need the run and it will be difficult to gauge how he handles the rise in class. With that said, he gets the services of useful young rider Schwarz, and we’ll be expecting a top half finish.
