He lines up in this very competitive handicap over 1160m and this is the first time in a while that he has had a low weight to shoulder. He should be cherry ripe for this outing but will need to improve on his current form in order to make a big impression. He has been coming along nicely at home but he is going to have to show more before we tip him with any confidence.

He comes into this Assessment Plate on the back of some decent form, after winning his maiden 4 starts back. This however, is a big step up in class with a number of quality 3 year old’s taking part. If he settles well early on and doesn’t fly off to the front, he should be right there at the business end and we make him a good outside place bet.
