Due to the unfortunate withdrawal of Anika The Angel (cast in box), Arctic Princess now comes into the race as runner (previously first reserve runner). She has been disappointing in her last few starts since leaving the maidens earlier this year and we’ll be looking for big improvement now.
She was clearly outpaced in that 1200m last time out and now reverts back to the 1400m, but she does have a tricky draw to negotiate. The slightly more sedate tempo should suit and with a bit of luck in running we’ll be hoping for a much improved performance here.
Winning Form Comment: 3rd run after rest. Best MR:75. Three poor post maiden runs, needs to improve.

He gave a decent account of himself when returning for his first run after a five and a half month absence last time, despite needing the run. From a slightly improved draw here, Lyle Hewitson retains the ride on this 6-year old son of Silvano, and he should strip fitter now.
The 1700m should allow for a slightly quicker tempo and if showing that turn of foot he displayed in his penultimate run, we’ll be expecting a big performance here. He should have a useful each way chance.

He disappointed last time out, when making his return to racing after lockdown and clearly needed the run more than we had anticipated. That was over the 1200m and he should really relish the extra furlong now.
Lyle Hewitson sticks with the ride and from a plum draw (2), he should get the run of the race from a prominent early position. If all goes to plan, he should have a nice place chance with an outside winning chance.

He appears to have lost his early speed and we have now opted to send him over the 1400m where he has featured before. Sean Veale takes the mount this time and with the form line of his last start working out, he should have a useful place chance.
