Former top jockey turned trainer, Garth Puller is now a force to be reckoned with in the South African training ranks. See more here, on how this professional outfit ticks over.

A horseman by nature he has excelled in conditioning racehorses since 1 August 2012, when he trained his first runner which ended up being a winner. That was a filly called Foreign Gal, ridden by Anton Marcus and many more have followed since. It is his attention to detail and passion for the game that has bought a lot of success to his yard.

“I get to Summerveld just before 04h00 in the morning and leave after 18h30 in the evenings. I am busy all day with the horses, staff, administration and customer communication. Naturally I wouldn’t be committed if I didn’t love what I do, and I believe hard work pays dividends no matter what kind of work one does.”
