The Hollywood Syndicate has two runners at the Vaal Classic course this Tuesday the 5th June, with both ALPHAMIKEFOXTROT and DEAGO DELUXE running in the 3rd race over 1000m. James Everett speaks to trainer Clinton Binda about our two runners.

He needed his last start desperately after coming back from a 23 week break and gelding.
With this in mind and a wide draw to overcome, he made a credible effort 2 weeks ago where he travelled well throughout and just got tired at the end, as expected.
We are hoping that this “pipe opener” has bought him on for this run and he should make a much improved account of himself.

Alphamikefoxtrot comes into the race as the 2nd reserve runner, after two runners were scratched.
Unfortunately last time out it was another disappointing effort and his time may be starting to run out before decisions are made about his future.
He will be fitted with a set of blinkers, so we are hoping that this has the desired effect and he shows some improvement come race time.
